Day 1 – Arrival in Colombo
Meet your guide and visit Munneswaram Temple, where Lord Rama is believed to have prayed after defeating Ravana.
Day 2 – Colombo → Chilaw → Kandy
Stop at Manavari Temple, known as the first lingam consecrated by Rama. Continue to Kandy; evening visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
Day 3 – Kandy → Nuwara Eliya
Explore Ramboda Hanuman Temple and lush tea country. See the picturesque Ramboda Falls, linked to Hanuman’s search for Sita.
Day 4 – Nuwara Eliya (Seetha Amman Temple)
Morning visit to Seetha Amman Temple and Hakgala Botanical Garden, believed to be the Ashok Vatika where Sita was held captive.
Day 5 – Nuwara Eliya → Ella
Travel through scenic hills to Ella, home to Ravana Falls and Ravana’s Cave, associated with the legendary abduction.
Day 6 – Ella → Kataragama
Visit the sacred Kataragama Temple, an important pilgrimage site blending Hindu and Buddhist traditions.
Day 7 – Kataragama → Galle
Drive south to the historic fort city of Galle. Sunset walk along the UNESCO-listed ramparts.
Day 8 – Galle → Trincomalee
Transfer to the east coast to visit the grand Koneswaram Temple, known as the “Temple of a Thousand Pillars.”
Day 9 – Trincomalee & Surroundings
Explore Shankari Devi Peedam, one of the Shakti Peethas, and enjoy the pristine beaches of Nilaveli.
Day 10 – Trincomalee → Colombo / Departure
